Battles bevestigd

Na hun briljante show op Motel Mozaique 2006 staat Battles dit jaar weer op het Motel Mozaique affiche!! Dit voorjaar verschijnt dan eindelijk het langverwachte tweede Battles album, opvolger van ‘Mirrored’ uit 2007. Drummer John Stanier zegt over het nieuwe Battles album tegen NME het volgende: “One word I can use to describe the new record is ‘sexy’. The album will contain slow songs, fast songs, emotional songs, party songs, and epic movie soundtrack-sounding songs.” Zanger/gitarist Tyondau Braxton is overigens onlangs uit de band gestapt omdat hij geen zin had in een uitgebreide tour in 2011.
