The multidisciplinary installation-performance Urban Distortions combines dance, live music and architecture in an attempt to decode and portray the cities of Hong Kong, Brussels and Mtwapa (Kenya). Dancers and musicians step into large inflatable balloons and explore boundaries, speeds and movements. t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e. is a Belgian collaboration between architect/director Pierre Larauza and dancer/choreographer Emmanuelle Vincent. In 2010 they gained a lot of attention with their performance Chambre(s) d’Hôtel at Motel Mozaique, in the caravan on Schouwburgplein.
